Getting to Charlotte Country Day

Charlotte Country Day is at 1440 Carmel Road in Charlotte. It's 149 miles from Northgate Mall. Take I-85 South toward Charlotte. When you get to where I-77 intersects I-85, follow the directions and maps below. The first map is a wide view of I-85 through Charlotte. The second shows where Morehead connects with I-77 (right after the I-277 loop). The final map shows where Country Day is in relation to Providence and Fairview roads. Allow 3 hours of travel time.

Take the I-77/US-21 exit, exit number 38, towards STATESVILLE/COLUMBIA. (0.3)
Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp. (0.3)
Merge onto I-77 S/US-21 S. (3.3)
Take the US-29/NC-27/MOREHEAD ST exit, exit number 10 A. (0.1)
Turn LEFT onto W MOREHEAD ST/US-29/NC-27. (0.6)
Stay straight to go onto W MOREHEAD ST/NC-27/NC-49. (0.2)
Stay straight to go onto E MOREHEAD ST/NC-27. (0.6)
Stay straight to go onto E MOREHEAD ST. (1.0)
E MOREHEAD ST becomes QUEENS RD. (0.6)
Stay straight to go onto PROVIDENCE RD/NC-16. (3.5)
Turn RIGHT onto FAIRVIEW RD. (0.5)
Turn LEFT onto CARMEL RD.
