![]() | Head Coach Jim Kirkley Coach Kirkley has been the Riverside lacrosse coach since 1993, the second year of the program. In 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2002 his teams won the NCHSLA (public school) championship. He has 26 years of coaching experience in Maryland, Massachusetts, New York and North Carolina. He played college lacrosse at Bucknell University, where he was a long stick defenseman. He has a master's degree in divinity from Gordon-Conwell Seminary and a Ph.D. from Duke University. Most summers he punishes his aging body by playing in the master's division at the Vail Shootout. He has been known to become agitated at the occasional officiating call, prompting a visiting fan once to exclaim, "This guy's an ordained minister?" |
